“ We had dinner at Coin on Saturday, with an advance reservation for 6 people. We used the OQFC tour, which offers a dish of equal or lesser value as a courtesy when a participant purchases a meal. We informed them in our order that we were 3 couples and that each couple had chosen the same dish. When it came time to pay the bill, another waiter – who hadn't served us during the evening – appeared with the incorrect discount. When we questioned him, he insisted that was how it was, but the waiter who had accompanied us throughout the dinner explained the discount. Even so, the other employee was upset and said he couldn't refund it. Shortly after, we believe it was the manager, who came to the table and offered us two complimentary desserts. The food is delicious, well-served and presented, with balanced seasonings and generous portions. The masala coffee drink is wonderful; the chocolate fondant was delicious! We went based on good recommendations and the gastronomic quality; we would certainly return. However, the whole situation caused some discomfort. I'm leaving this review as constructive criticism; it's important that the staff is well-trained to handle situations like this more professionally. The experience has the potential to be excellent, and I hope they continue to improve their service. Even so, I recommend it for the quality of the food. ”
